Fine Art Print Details

Does the print include the watermark?

No. The watermark appears on digital images only and is not included in the final print.

What is giclée?

Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is a fine art printing process that uses archival pigment inks and professional-grade printers to achieve exceptional color accuracy, depth, and detail. This method is widely used by galleries and museums for high-quality reproductions.

What does acid-free paper mean?

Acid-free paper is designed to prevent yellowing and deterioration over time. Using 100% cotton, archival-quality paper ensures the print remains stable and vibrant for years when properly cared for.

Does the listed size include the white border?

Yes. All unframed print sizes include a ½-inch white border.

Why do the unframed prints include a white border?

The white border allows for easier framing and matting without covering the artwork. It also provides visual space around the image, which is standard for fine art prints.

How are the prints made?

Each print is a high-quality reproduction of an original oil painting, professionally scanned for museum-grade fidelity. Prints are produced using archival pigment inks on cold-pressed, heavyweight fine art paper to preserve texture, brushstrokes, and tonal depth.

How should I frame my print?

For best results, use acid-free mats and backing, and avoid placing the print in direct sunlight or high-humidity environments. If you’d like framing recommendations for the NYC area, feel free to reach out at please email us at hellotaylorxmichele@gmail.com

Can I return or exchange a print?

Because each print is made to order, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. If your print arrives damaged, please contact the studio right away at hellotaylorxmichele@gmail.com and we are happy to assist you.

Why are your paintings scanned instead of photographed?

Original paintings are professionally scanned to ensure the highest level of accuracy. This process captures color, texture, and detail evenly across the surface without distortion or lighting inconsistencies, resulting in a true-to-original, museum-quality reproduction.
